Brazilian magic sparkles in Manchester

Liverpool beat Manchester City 4-1 at the  Eithiad Stadium on Saturday which gave the Reds a massive 3 points.
Klopp trusted the same team (barring Sakho) that beat Chelsea earlier in the month with Roberto Firmino playing as the lone front man for Liverpool.
It worked a treat as the Reds raced into a 3-0 lead just after 30 minutes. Liverpool outplayed Man City, producing fantastic football that the City defenders couldn't cope with. Overall Klopp's back four was solid thoroughout apart from a mistake from Skrtel which handed the ball to Sergio Aguero who put city back in the game at 1-3. Skrtel made up for his mistake by smashing in the forth and rounding off a superb win for the Reds.
Dejan Lovren was a real plus point for Liverpool as he looked like a real leader at the back and defended brilliantly from start to finish.
My man of the match goes to Roberto Firmino, his creativity and link up with Coutinho was sublime; he scored and set up a goal for his fellow Brazilian.

Klopp loses for the first time as poor defending costs Liverpool

Crystal Palace have out-played Liverpool at Anfield for the second consecutive season as they take a 2-1 win away from Anfield.

A poor opening to the match saw Liverpool concede a sloppy first goal, Emre Can could not clear the ball in the area which then fell to the feet of Yannick Bolasie who struck home from 10 yards to give Palace an deserved lead. Palace's wingers proved a problem for the Reds with Zaha and Sako causing problems for Clyne and Moreno.
Just before the break Liverpool did equalise after some good build up play from Clyne he played pass towards Adam Lallana who back-heeled it to Coutinho who shot passed Wayne Hennessy in the Palace goal.
In the second half Klopp's men couldn't find the finishing touch with numerous chances wasted. The missed chances proved costly as with 9 minutes to go Scott Dann scored at the Anfield Road end to hand Palace and impressive away win.

My major concern about Liverpool is our defending mainly from set pieces. I feel that we look nervy as a side when defending corners no person takes command and it was proven on Palace's second goal when Dann was surrounded by 5 Liverpool players but still managed to score from the corner.
