Pressure mounts on Mourinho as Klopp registers his first league win

Liverpool rise to 7th in the Barclays Premier League table as they beat an out of form Chelsea side 3-1 at Stamford Bridge.

The Reds didn't get off to the best start as Ramires pounced on some bad defending from Liverpool to score with just 3 minutes on the clock. Even though Chelsea scored early on, they didn't register another shot in the first half which Liverpool dominated. Phillipe Coutinho finished well from the edge of the area with his right foot on the stroke of half time to level the scores.

After the break, Liverpool still dominated proceedings playing some great football but couldn't find the breakthrough until Benteke came off the bench and set up Coutinho who's shot deflected off John Terry and went into the back off the net to give Liverpool the lead. Coutinho's second goal seemed to knock the stuffing out of Chelsea, which created more chances for Liverpool and one chance was turned home by Benteke to seal the victory in the 84th minute.

It was a great performance all round for Liverpool and this win will hopefully give them confidence going into matches vs Rubin Kazan and Crystal Palace next week.
