Tottenham 0-0 Liverpool

Jurgen Klopp's start to his tenure as Liverpool boss ends in an 0-0 draw, with both sides unable to find the finishing touch.

My thoughts on Liverpool's performance:
Overall I thought that Liverpool played well vs Tottenham.
The Liverpool defence was sometimes troubled by the Spurs attack and most noticeably Skrtel was troubled particularly by Harry Kane. The back four did make some mistakes in possession of the ball by giving the ball away to the Spurs attack which led to shots on goal that Mignolet saved well throughout the match.
The midfield closed down well in the early part of the match, closing down and putting pressure on the Spurs midfield but did tire towards the end of the match.
Emre Can was the stand out player in the  midfield of Liverpool, picking out key passes and hitting a great shot towards the end of the match that just went wide. Adam Lallana and Phillipe Coutinho were both isolated and didn't have a great impact on the game because of the pressing from the Spurs midfield.
Most disappointing about Liverpool in this match was the perfromance of Divock Origi. Even though he hit the post in the first half, he didn't have a good game what so ever. Origi held onto the ball for too long many times that lost Liverpool possession and his hold up play was not up to scratch.

My player ratings:
Mignolet 8/10
Clyne 7/10
Skrtel 5/10
Sakho 7/10
Moreno 6/10
Lucas 6/10
Can 8/10
Milner 6/10
Coutinho 6/10
Lallana 6/10
Origi 3/10
